Generative Henna Patterns (In Development)- This Processing applet generates henna patterns that are traditionally used in Indian ceremonies to decorate the hands and feet of women in marriages and festivals. Basically it isolates different elements, which are used in creating intricate patterns, and establishes a relationship between large and small elements and randomly creates different patterns each time it is refreshed. A projector is used to make projections over the hands of the viewer and he can see the pattern evolve and disintegrate on there skin. A large scale variation is also possible where a camera detects the body and projects the pattern on the viewers body covering him in beautiful patterns.
